This new cabin has all the modern comforts to make your stay enjoyable. Whether relaxing in the hot tub as you take in the views, reading a book, or enjoying the tiled walk-in shower, the cabin is a great place to escape or for easy access to all that Golden has to offer.
The natural environment at the cabin presents some hazards including fall from heights, steep embankments, open water and potential for wildlife.
This cabin has very steep alternating stairs and is not suitable for children under the age of 10 or those with mobility issues.
There is another cabin on the property and there may be other guests on the property during your stay. The cabins are set apart several hundred feet, face in different directions, and both feature private outdoor space that is not visible from the other.
Other Details to Note
Before you book, please note the following:
1. During winter (November to end of April), an all-wheel-drive or 4x4 vehicle with good snow tires is recommended as the driveway is long, steep and often snow covered.
2. The maximum number of guests we can accommodate is 6. There are two queen beds in the cabin, therefore if you bring six guests to stay, some people will be sleeping on the couch or the floor.
3. The interior stairs are "ships stairs" with alternating treads that are very steep (not quite a ladder, but close to that). There are also exterior stairs that are much less steep, however this listing is not appropriate for children under the age of 12, people with mobility challenges, or those who are afraid of heights.
4. There is another cabin on the property and there may be other guests on the property during your stay. The cabins are set apart several hundred feet, face in different directions and both feature private outdoor space that is not visible from the other.

Stunning mountain views from the entire cabin. Cozy space that had everything we needed. Can’t beat sitting in the hot tub looking across the valley at snow covered mountains!!

Evan’s cabin was a real gem. Offering all the comfort needed, perfectly peaceful and cozy with the greatest view. Evan was super helpful and responsive during our whole trip. Golden was the perfect anchor to discover all the beauty around. We’re hoping to be back!

We loved Golden and staying at Evan's place. It was comfortable, clean, and a great location. The only small issue to be aware of is that you can hear the highway traffic below, and this is because you are so close to town. It wasn't super loud but just an awareness item if looking for mountain peace, and our city travel companions didn't even notice. I will recommend this town and home to others in the future. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at Evan's cabin. The view from the living room and bedrooms was fantastic. Everything has been thought of to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped - especially with a bean to cup coffee machine. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day hiking. Evan's communication was good too with thoughtful suggestions of places to eat in Golden.
